My Son is Always in Trouble and Danger

In Uncategorized on January 13, 2009 at 6:39 am

People always say that kids can be “magulo” and it is quite normal that they get into petty fight with other kids but sometimes I can’t help to think that my son is always more prone to danger and trouble.

In their classroom, for example, my son is not allowed by his teachers to play outside of his room. Yesterday, Kulay managed to go out and play in the school playground and when I arrived, I learned na pinukpok na sia ng bato ng kalaro nia who is a class ahead of him.

My son is also the one who fell down from the school slide a few months ago nang minsang natagalan ako ng pagsundo sa anak ko.

Sometimes I think that my son gets into trouble whenever somebody fetches him from school late but most of his classmates who are fetched sometimes as late as 40 minutes by their guardians or parents do not get into trouble or danger at all.

I am starting to wonder what is wrong with my son or us his parents…. Sometimes I think it must be because we (I in particular) have been so protective of our son. I can even scold kids who tend to quarrel my son so yesterday, I did not confront the child who bullied my son. Naisip ko Kulay should know how to fend for himself in the real world even without a mama or a papa or a lolo who will protect him. This way, he learns how to protect himself from others and from any danger.

Anyone pitch in some advice or opinion?
